Our church is a profoundly ordinary church called by a profoundly extraordinary God. We are a collection of diverse people made to be family by the life-changing power of the Gospel of Jesus.
WHAT WE DO
Our desire is for everyone to grow in the knowledge, image, and ministry of Christ. We encourage one another to engage in weekly worship services, connect through small groups, and find places in which to serve in the church, one another, and our community.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We passionately believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes our very identity! While the Bible is our only infallible rule of faith and practice, we are also committed—and accountable—to a specific statement of faith that represents a summary of the teaching of Holy Scripture on key points of doctrine essential to the beliefs, conduct, and witness of our churches.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you visit with us, we hope that you feel like you're part of the community. Our ultimate desire, as a body of devoted followers of Jesus, is to create an environment where people can experience the presence and grace of God in a life-transforming way.
CONVERSATION
Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, "Hi, we haven't met before; is this your first time?" Expect people to greet and reach
out to you in love.
WORSHIP
We love to worship the Triune God! Our worship service is comprised of prayer, music, singing hymns, and contemporary worship songs, a
pastoral sermon, and receiving communion.
TRUTH
The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God's truth. At Sovereign Grace Church, we seek to explore, understand, and apply God's truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love.
PARTNERSHIPS
We enjoy a rich relationship with other Sovereign Grace Churches in the Texas region and the broader United States. Our partnerships help us to care for our members and advance the gospel.
