Our Pastors

Darrel was born into the home of a gospel minister in 1972. He grew up in Texas. In September of 1991, he married his high school sweetheart, Shari. They have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Darrel served as an elder from 2003 to 2007 at Christ Church in Conroe, TX.

In October of 2007, God called them to move to Pearland, Texas to join Sovereign Grace Church. He and his family then moved to Maryland to attended the SG Pastors College in 2008. He graduated in 2009. Since graduating, he has served as an elder of Sovereign Grace Pearland. He is currently the senior pastor. He also serves as regional leader of SG churches. 

David hails from the Washington DC metro area. He has been married to Jeomily (Mel), since 2005, and share the blessing of raising their only child Isaac. He has served in various churches, including Fairfax Bible Church in Virginia. He and his family relocated to Houston, TX in 2016, where they became a part of Sovereign Grace Pearland. He was ordained in Sovereign Grace in 2019. He is a full-time pastor and leads various ministries in our church, including marriage discipleship and church outreach.

Jason was born and raised in Greenville, SC. In 1997, Jason moved to Houston, TX. He graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a BA in Religion and then completed his Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004. He then completed the Clinical Pastoral Eduction program with the Harris County Hospital District where he served as a Chaplain from 2004-2005. Jason met his kind and precious wife Jill at Houston’s First Baptist Church in 2004. They married in 2006 and have four children. He was ordained in Sovereign Grace in 2024.
